From an analogue rental market to a binding checkout in under three minutes: with RentOn, Jungheinrich is building a fully digital rental channel for customers its traditional sales model structurally can't reach.

The challenge
Anyone in Germany who needs to rent a forklift at short notice waits for callbacks, quotes and paper documents. The rental market runs on analogue processes, even as demand for instant digital self-service booking grows. At the same time, Jungheinrich is building up a larger fleet under its mid-tech brand AntOn that needs to be utilised economically. The question was not how to build a shop, but whether Jungheinrich could establish its own digital rental channel reaching customers its existing sales model structurally can't serve.
The solution
Together with Jungheinrich, we developed RentOn from the first hypothesis to the live shop and are now scaling it internationally. From venture strategy and market validation through product vision, UX and shop architecture to all commercial and operational processes, AI integration and go-to-market. The result is a standalone, fully digital rental platform: a modern shop experience, AI-powered processes, lean operations.
„In a short time, Bridgemaker turned a strategic idea into an operating business model. Not as a concept on slides, but as a working digital rental channel.“
The results
Fully digital rental shop live: product selection, real-time availability, binding checkout in under three minutes
Scalable backend: dedicated inventory system, CRM, payment
AI chatbot advises around the clock and guides customers through vehicle selection
All operational processes live: registration, credit checks, logistics, returns, accounting
GTM infrastructure live: tracking, ad integration, performance campaigns
Architecture built to scale, the foundation for international rollout
